Interesting level of hostility on your part, SOD.

I'm going to pose a question to you. Have you ever changed your mind? I'm not sure if that's what Jim did, so I'll speak for myself. When I first heard the charges about Bush and cocaine use I was pretty upset- it was my first reaction- and it was emotional. At that time, I might add, I was a fan of John McCain- so unlikely to look favorably on GWB anyway.

After a couple of days passed- and I read some more articles and got perspective- I dismissed the whole thing.

What's interesting to me- is your attitude- not Jim's. I'm not sure if he still holds the same opinion of our president as he did when that was written or not...but consider this- he may have changed his mind. Isn't that what people do as they learn NEW INFORMATION? Regardless- it's beside the point.

What I find distressing is being called a mindless cult-follower and koolaide drinker. If you've spent anytime here on FR recently or even 6 years ago- you KNOW that we squabble and argue amongst ourselves ALL THE TIME. We are certainly not in sync on all issues- and just as many people disagree with Jim as agree with him. Including me at different times.
