Am I the only one who wonders why it takes $70,000 or so every quarter to keep this site operating. Hell that's a over 1/4 million a year!! Once the website is up and operational, with very little if any improvements, the cost of some servers and T1 lines it can't cost that much!
You're obviously an imbecile when it comes to computers. I happen to do web development for major financial institutions.
You have no idea what it takes to run a web site of this magnitude. Also, who cares if FR brings in $280,000/year? It's called Capitalism....love it or leave it.

Why call names? I may not be as smart as you but you know this isn't a major financial institutional website. It doesn't even compare to that type of enterprise. You know that. I didn't say capitalism is a bad thing did I? I just asked a question. This is still America isn't it? Back off.

Now, I have looked the budget and it looks reasonable to me...but even if a load of cash was being taken out of the site, it's not as if they give us some "Donate or the lights go out" speech. Heck, the thing they prod people to donate with is the chance to make the Freepathons short.
