This makes sense; other than the 30s, the period 1900-1950 was cooler than the period from 1950-2000 (plus) -- though the 70s were a cold decade.

This makes sense. Most of the U.S. used to be covered with glaciers - even some southern states. Reportedly these are starting to melt too. Kyoto should've been signed back in the Ice Age; we may have prevented this...

That's nice. This winter felt like a normal winter (iow, like every winter I've spent in my 47 years) -- apart from January, which felt like April. Last winter, and the winter before that, were much, much colder.
