In summation on tonight-
WORST IDOL EVER! something was off tonight. Songs were too short, couldn't get anyone on a roll, seemed hurried and flat, start to finish.
It was bad. I totally agree that the songs were too short. It should have been a 90 minute show at least.
I think that was the biggest problem. They went from a two hour show the last couple of weeks to a one hour show this week. 10 songs in an hour is a tight fit. 90 minutes would've been more comfortable for everyone.
I would say the songs were short because they cut the show from 2 hours to 1 hr. even the comments were cut short. Simon sounded as if he was being rushed at the end for Elliot, just "one-liners".
If there was a problem with the sound system, I'm not sure the public will ever find out about it.
What did I learn tonight? 21st Century music doesn't give these very different artists much to choose from.
