I saw them live at The Village Gate in NYC in 1965 or 1966.

The Village Gate was a small cabaret type place. We had a table in the front that butted the stage. You could reach out and touch them if you wanted.

Also playing was Doc Sevrinson from the Johnny Carson Show.

I go way back too............lol
