Believe me, Bocelli doesn't have to push his CD's. He has worldwide sales in the millions of units. The songs on "Amore" are from his latest tour. He performed these songs in Vegas to sold-out houses in November of 2004. PBS showed this concert last month.

You are right--only two are in English. So the songs can't be coming exclusively from that.

I think Bocelli is doing this because he genuinely wants to help young talent.

He was playing piano and singing in a piano bar when he was discovered by Pavarotti, who arranged for him to sing at a Pav. concert. The rest is history.

Bocelli has a wonderful personality, and I think the kids are going to have a marvelous time working with him.

Bocelli is one of a very few classical artists who have successfully crossed over to pop music.

I can't wait to see the show next Tuesday!

(Can you tell I am a huge Bocelli fan?)

I just meant that the guests all seem to be promoting one of their/latest CD's.

I'm just trying to an idea of what the song options might be. Rock or county love songs allowed? It WILL make a difference. :)
