Taylor faked Ryan out. He strode toward Chris and just as he shook Chris's hand Ryan said, "No, you cho-" and then Taylor strolled over and stood next to Katherine with a sneaky smile, and Ryan said, "yes, you chose the right group".

Taylor is fantastic. He has a great attitude all the time.
I thought Taylor made that whole set-up look foolish---and I bet he did it on purpose. Maybe TPTB will stop making a contestant do that stupid "choosing sides" bit, now.
