Ditto to that!! Even Jennifer Hudson (who was my favorite that season) was far better than Fantasia. I think Jennifer was voted off early because she was considered "heavy" compared to the other girls that year.
But compared to Mandisa (who should not have left us yet), she's Calista Flockhart! Note: Paris was the biggest benefactor to Mandisa's premature departure. She should have bottomed out last week with her horrible version of a Freddie Mercury classic.
However, I must say that I'm glad Paris was still here this week because she was very good last night.

Are you assuming that all the black viewers have switched from Mandisa to Paris, or what? What are you basing this assumption on? For the record, I voted for Mandisa EVERY week, even when she wasn't quite as great as she had been other weeks, because overall she was such a spectacular performer. I have yet to cast one vote for Paris.
