There is a lot of that keeping her afloat. Most on this board despise her, but she has appeal and it is more than her detractors want to acknowledge.

That being said, singing clearly isn't one of her talents. But I'm guessing there are plenty of backwoods trailer jockeys in the low country who can attest to her "other" talents.

I don't think anyone despises her, I know I don't. I see why people like her, but IMO she doesn't belong in the AI top whatever we are at, 7 I think? She did do very well with country week, but she's sort of skating by on personality. She's only 19 or 20, so much of it could just be immaturity.

She may go one to a successful country career or go back to working at Sonic, who knows. Maybe Fox News will hire her to be the newest news or weather babe. ;-)

Oh, I don't know about that. I think with some vocal training she would be very good in her genre of music. These "standards" are never going to be her thing, but, unfortunately, these aren't the songs that they play on the radio these days.
