This just proves to me that the MEDIA is doing what ever it can to bring Chris down. (Check out the second story headline)
Did 'A.I.'s' Chris Daughtry Kill a Bird?
FOX receives complaint from 'Idol's' neighbor
By TMZ.COM STAFF
(April 1) -- The 'Idol' contestants are staying in living quarters in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. We're told a neighbor called FOX to complain about Chris Daughtry's loud music. The woman alleges that Chris' music is so loud and stressful that it killed her bird, Sweet Pea.
Chris Daughtry feels bad about the dead bird. His fellow contestants -- not so much. We're told a few of them joked that Chris should wear a t-shirt that says "R.I.P. Sweat Pea."

American Idol Finalist Chris Daughtry can really belt out a rock tune. The favorite to win this year's Fox TV Reality based series has such strong vocals he has now been allegedly accused of killing a neighbor's pet.
R.I.P. Sweat Pea?
Yes - we know it's April 1, but it does not appear to be an April Fool's joke though it reads like one.

Saying 'Goodbye' the 'A.I.' way
What really happens after the elimination
By TMZ.COM STAFF
(Mar. 30, 1:50PM ET) -- Ever wonder what happens to the fallen 'Idols' once they're booted off the show? TMZ has the lowdown on what happens the moment after the unlucky one watches their journey on tape -- set to Daniel Powter's 'Bad Day' song -- and steps off the stage for the last time.
After the remaining 'Idols' say goodbye to their comrade, the rejected 'Idol' is immediately taken into a private room, in which a psychologist and an 'Idol' management rep are present. No one is allowed to enter while certain issues are addressed -- the rejected 'Idol's' feelings, what he or she can and can not talk about, what that person can and can not do, and what responsibilities they have now that they're off the show.
After that, all of the remaining contestants and the rejected 'Idol' go to a "farewell dinner" together.
The reject stays in LA and in the 'Idol' apartment for at least another week, for press interviews. After that, they're on their own.
