Where were you last night?
I had to watch by myself.
It was horrible.

They're spoofing Idol (Mandy Moore), I get that. But they're also going to choose the next president (Dennis Quaid)? I don't get it.Somewhere I read that the script started out as a political satire, but that they changed it to capitalize on the popularity of AI. So now the script is some kind of weird hybrid between political satire and an AI knock-off.

Yeah, hot, fun and she's a pretty darn good singer.

If Mandy Moore is pudgy we are all in trouble. I SO totally agree. Whew! If that's pudgy, I'm gonna crawl into a hole somewhere and hide. ;-)

I'm also a sucker for Jerry Orbach! {don't ask me why}
He's the doctor Dad in Dirty Dancing.
Law & Order died when he did.
He was on celebrity Jeopardy once and cleaned everyone's clocks. Brilliant, humble guy.

The other thing he might have tried would have been to have worn his hair back like that before. I think it was too much of a shock. But, I like the hat idea. He might have been able to pull that off. But, it would be harder to make eyes at the camera. :)

If Paris makes it through tonight, I'll have to rethink the politics... You think Paris should go?
To: silent_jonny
She was banned for a day but after that she's has elected not to come back.
To: Wolfstar
This Left coast prejudice against Kellie seems to be in the mode of Hollywood jalousie of Nashville and everything southern.
Chris is flat. He does not have the personality to be Idol.
He would make a good backup but lacks starstuff.

A hat kept Bucky in the competition a couple of weeks longer. Is it possible that the lack of a hat gets Ace tossed. [snicker]

Paris has talent, I just don't see her selling Top 40 albums. She needs to be a club singer. Taylor is great but needs a Vegas act. Not sure if he'll translate well on radio.
To: Wolfstar
"Love Actually" is very, very cute and stars Hugh Grant.
It made me want to go to London for Christmas.

Even if she doesn't go tonight, I'd be happy if she were in the bottom three. That would be a reasonable outcomeVery reasonable. She was clearly the worst last night and earned a spot in the bottom three.

....maybe a reflection...or maybe something more sinister....
I think she had very fine glitter in her blusher. Her face literally sparkled in closeups

IMO, his best role was as the voice of Puss in Boots in Shrek 2. ;-)
