Somehow Nena survives and in the smoldering radioactive ashes of post apocolyptic Germany, she sees one of her troublemaking red balloons floating by, and laments for all that has been lost (including, apparently, underarm razors.)

Dang. I saw the video and did not get any of that...LOL. Don't worry I am the stupid one when it comes to understanding what is supposed to represent war, love, sin etc. Maybe if I saw it today I would get it, but back when it was released I just saw it and took it as red ballons floating in the air and the girl liked them or something. I feel really silly now...LOL.
