Please pray on this day, and every day, for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm's way around the world in defense of our liberty, and for the families awaiting their safe return.
LIVE Now at Bristol...TrackSide..
Temps are 35 Degrees and SNOW is predicted!
LarryMac and Jeff goin' at it like old crewchiefs banging and bumping in the pits.
YeeHAW!!
Track Side is on Speed...
One thing I'm noticing about all these back in the day races is that they actually raced! No single file stuff, they were beating and banging and trying to win every lap. And as it should be according to Bud Lindemann, boy was he a great announcer.
The pitstops were funny, they spilled more fuel on the ground than a GWC would take today. The paper cup drink and the smoking in the pits was amazing.
Trackside Live is on now. 35 degrees. Brrrrrrrr

Track Side just showed a shot of RAIN in the track lites...
OH BOY it's snowing now!! Does not look good for early practice tomorrow morning.
...and now it's snowing there!!!
That was a "wintery mix"...them's some big fat wet snow flakes there! Hope they got a plow for that track!
Wonder if they need chains?
Can you shift OK wearing MITTENS?
Don't think they need a heater in the car with the exhaust pipes under their butts...
They can just put sand down :)
Wouldya look at them crazy fans, in the SNOW!!
There is gonna be one big party in the campgrounds tonight!!
LOOK AT THAT SNOW~!
It really looks like they're having a blast. I wish I was there. WooHoo
Well, we're off to the movies. See ya all tomorrow sometime hoepfully.
#2 son and I saw Shaggy Dog. Larry's was sold out. #1 son opted to help out at the preparation for Grand Opening of neighborhood bakery. Soon as I get me a camera I'll show some pics of the oven this guy has built. A true piece of work.
Can you smoke fish in it after hours?
Well, maybe. I'll ask him. But, what he built is of a tradition of stone / brick construction with precise propotions, etc. What he does is build a fire in the thing and heat it up. Takes quite a while. Then, he cleans out the coals and bakes. The thing holds heat for a long time to do the baking.
As I said- a true piece of work. Even better, he has battled the city for years to comply with codes. Just keeps on keeping on.
Morning grok.
