You really find that statue realistic? Or was it a joke?

How do YOU know it's not realistic? Ever seen a live one up close? Maybe the reason they're extinct is that their plastic sheen attracts large predators. Maybe their glassy eyes caused them all to stumble into trees and brain themselves.
