Anywhere from 300-700MB depending on the capture quality.

Anyone have any idea what size a 30 minute mpg would be? Depends on the capture size. I generally capture in high quality DVD 720x480 format and a 30 minute show runs 1-1.5 Gigs.

Anyone have any idea what size a 30 minute mpg would be?mpeg-1 would be anywhere from 250 to 600 MB, depending on the quality. Mpeg-2 will be about 1 to 1.5 GB. You could always get it lower than that by playing with frame rate, image quality, bit rate, etc., but those are some orders of magnitude you'll be dealing with.
