Thanks for all the contributions you've been making to the thread here. I'm glad to see someone really discussing this (as the person who does the crypto ping list, I can honestly say I've seen enough Hillary/Helen Thomas pictures to last me a lifetime).
Haven't read your LONG post yet, am about to.
They may have been a techno idiot who knew how to turn on the camera but didn't know how to use the zoom.
We had our home video camera for years before figuring the zoom out.
nicely played...you really should burn that one...it hurt my eyes as I watched it download piece by agonizing piece...but I'm still chuckling...
I had no idea there was a crypto ping list. Sheesh! Sign me up!
You'd be surprised with fetishes and all, she'd be taken with first dibs, of course, not by me but by someone. : )
Methinks Mary Green needs some SERIOUS lessons on how to use a video camera...........sheesh. Worthless.
That is quite a story! Thanks. Don't know if I would call it fact or fiction but it certainly kept my interest.
Just read the story. Wow. Quite an interesting read.
You're both on.
I started the crypto ping list a few weeks ago, so it's fairly new. Lately it's been a little slow (lots of squirrel-rats and woodpeckers) but it seems to be getting more interesting.
These stills are from the Memorial Day Footage - this family was picnicing on Memorial day. Some men see a bigfoot behind a tree, they tell the wife to get the Video Camera... she does and films the following. Maybe I can post a clip of the video on Put Files. I'll keep you updated... More pics to come.
Images from the time the bigfoot comes into range.
I have been meaning to order that DVD for a looong time but haven't gotten around to it.
The still that show the bigfoot growing in height about 1 foot or 12 inches at the end of the video. Some have argued that this is the man in the costume taking off the Mask and other say it is possibly an adolescent bigfoot carrying a baby bigfoot that then raise to the shoulder. Hence, the increase in height.
This is the track athlete that they timed and compared against the supposed bigfoot. The guy ran faster than the bigfoot but the bigfoot was estimated (via highly technical scientific measures to be 5' 3inches), the guy was taller. The weather the day of the shoot was moist and the guy slipped once - the first time trial. He ran mulitple times with expensive equipment on his back.
I've posted before... regardless of the fact of the fall, I wonder what type of trail running shoes the bigfoot was wearing?
Also, if the bigfoot was carrying a baby then that would reduce it's speed.
You know, this looks familiar. Maybe I've seen it before.
I know I've seen the part with the man running.
Big Foot Ping!
The data is from different Foot print castings, measured. So you know the story, many people find footprints in the wild, Cast then then hand them over to this scientist.
The castings are from different regions and from different decades. They plot well.
In other words the scientist states that if the measures of all the castings and footprints were fake and made out of pieces of cut up wood then the plot of data would be "all over the map". No, rather the data plots well, just like Normal data should.
For those of you that don't know much about statistics and measures. The data is expected to be Normal data, meaning Shaq O Neil is 7 feet tall but Michelle Kwan, the ice skater, is small and not 7 feet tall ---- And MOST people are inbetween.
Foot Length
Here is the normal distribution plot of all the castings that span locations and decades. This must be Step Length, whereas the prior one was Foot Length.
I loved that movie; I think it made me cry...
The foot length one is very close.
I would think if it were a hoax, it would be all over the map, like you mentioned. While they're not all exactly the same (which might also prove it to be a hoax), the plotting seems consistent while not being too perfect and makes it seem realistic for a living animal species.
