Well, Iraq has selected a new Prime Minister. Their government should stabilize now, and reduce the pressure for civil war.

More locally, Mary McCarthy was fired from her sensitive CIA post after too much strange bedfellowing with the treasonous media and their political operatives.

She, of course, denies it.

Up here, we have a crooked governor who's in bed with the teacher's union and the trial laywers. And he's up for reelection.

Our RINO state GOP can't find anyone to run against Nobody's Senator...

We have an attorney general who gets drunk, drives a state car back to her home in Fond du Lac, crashes it into a ditch and refuses a blood alcohol test (which is illegal)

There's a Taxpayers' Protection Amendment in the works in the state legislature and a state constitutional amendment barring gay marriage on the ballot in November.

On campus, we have a referendum on whether we want to remain a radical leftist group called the United Council of UW students. I cast my ballot tomorrow--and I will vote NO.
