Vlad Spit

Vlad spit, and that was it.
He’s a lad who seldom speaks.
His meaning comes through loud and clear,
Although his age is marked in weeks.

He’s very prescient for that age,
Quite the world observer too.
When he heard the news today, he spit,
And I endorse his phlegmatic view.

We should not let him listen, possibly.
Vlad spit, and governments took stock,
As even a child could see their falseness,
And many a long career could surely rock.

He will be one to change the world,
He knows about the need for changing,
His goals will be more sensible,
Than all this deck chair re-arranging.

He hungered for a world of nurturing,
And as he looked around at all of it,
He saw that much work needed doing,
And sleeves to be rolled up. Vlad spit.
