Interesting yes, but not that much of an increase, only 50%.

I'm looking forward to photonic processors, where the light path of the entering photon determines the channel on which it's operating. It is virtually unlimited, and we will have "employment" for massively scaled optical processing.

8^2 = 64, 16^2 = 256, 32^2 = 1024

8^3 = 512, 16^3 = 4096, 32^3 = 32768
