Er, it's Jon...
Close enough--I'm bad with names myself ;)

Though it's funny--when I got my Eagle, the congratulatory letter from the Blue Angels had "Joe" instead of Jon ;)

Sorry Jon.
Maybe you are a closet Joe.

Hi ES.
Sorry, I thought everyone had left.
Take care.

Not too bad.
Still working on some things with Scully.
It's a pity though. All our active CR's are leaving campus after this summer, and as far as we can tell, there's no one to really pick up the reins.

Will you have to do it yourselves?
Can you?
btw, what is a CR?

CR = College Republican
Between her and I, I believe we can work this all out.
On the other hand, she did get our budget doubled for next year's group--$300.
But this is peanuts compared to what the AAU and OLLA (minority groups) get--I'm unsure of the numbers, but rumor has it they get several times more than we do...

Naturally. :-(
Perhaps you should present yourself as a minority group with the same project, just to see how much you are offered.

Yeah, that's what the liberals will try to do to you if you speak the truth.
I was thinking more along the lines of pretending to be some fake minority group at the school, and try to see what kind of funds they would be willing to offer you.
Not that you would go through with it, but it would be damning if you could get them to fax you a proposal based on who they 'think' you are.
I'm just sneaky. Don't mind me.

With all this, I don't believe we could pull it off without eventually inciting a riot.
If we could, it would be very interesting to see...;)
In any case, both Scully and I will be on another campus next year, the other guys are off to different places...;)

I'd love to ask you more about what you do, but I am sure it is way too technical for my neurons.

Cheer up. We have a whole generation of people over in the Middle East, learning lessons about manhood and its importance.
They're going to be coming back home to deal with the emasculated boytoys that modern feminists have been creating, and some serious collisions of world view are going to take place.
In our society, men are what women make them. Making them useless is not going to bode well for the future.

I'm a full-time college student. Studying political science--not to mention one of the more active members in the campus College Republicans. An all-around Nice Guy and best friends with his Linux box (read: computer)...;)
Scully is a close friend of mine and the president of the College Republicans. I just wish she'd stop by the Castle for a visit, though...
I told her we're all decent people, and people of all ages and walks of life to discuss just about anything she can think of...
Of course, she's giving me flak (albeit lighthearted and rather playful) about picking up women and joining Facebook...;)

I agree.
Though here, there is one organization besides the American military that helps teach lessons about manhood and its importance in American society.
And I believe that organization is the Boy Scouts of America...;)
