With a degree you can get into the Air Force as an officer. I was in as an enlisted person. Officers get beat on more by their superiors but enlisted people do all the real work.
Internships are good to get and often lead to a permanent job.
VA near D.C. is a madhouse, as is the whole area. One place I would not want to live is there. But if you get into politics, you might not have a choice. You might even like it.
I guess I'm kinda waiting for a sign or something. I don't know. I'm nervous about making decisions. The military is something I feel really strongly about though. I was really disappointed when I found out that my father avoided it. My grandfather fought in WWII and his father fought in WWI. So it's really important to me.
I wish there was a way I could stay in the South. I really love it here. But even more than that, I want to get into national politics. It just fascinates me. I can't imagine doing anything else.
