Interesting how if it's anything anti President Bush, Comedy Central has no problem showing it and reairing it no matter what it was.

Scientology is very well-funded and they have some heavy legal help that is quite accustomed to this sort of thing. Not surprised they'd try it and these days the edges are so frayed around the First Amendment that anything that offends anybody is fair game assuming that the offendee has enough muscle behind him and is willing to use it. That does not apply to conservatives, needless to say.

I saw Matt and Trey on Charlie Rose a while back. They said that they have wanted to do an episode on islam but the execs were afraid for their safety and wouldn't let them.

I saw another interview with Trey a few weeks ago during the cartoon riots and he said they did a cartoon of Mohammed about five years ago and there was not a lot of controversy.
