My great-great grandmother was full-blooded Iroquois. My mother still has pictures of her from when she was around 90 years old (around 1965.) She died when my mom was in high school.

My great great grandmother who was Cherokee was one ugly woman! Looked more like a man. Uglier than her husband was. Very high checkbones, very prominant nose. Wore a Victorian dress with very high collar. A severe woman. Handsome.
