Talk about snapping ... I heard what sounded like a dog in pain across the road. Realized after I listened for a little while that it was a coyote. I immediately called my dog to heel and sit (thank goodness she obeys!) She was growling and snarling into the dark, and she NEVER growls or snarls (well, she snarled when I touched her paw that got snakebit, but . . . )
Time to repair the fence . . .
One of my dogs was almost attacked while on lead. We were walking along a four lane road in front of a bus stop. I called Fish and Game, and they came and got the creepy coyote, and all her little pups too.
