I wonder if Donhue realizes that Jesus is one of the few characters SP actually treats with any respect. Sure, no one watches his talk show and on his birthday, he sits alone singing Happy Birthday to Me in a sad voice.. but he is always the 'hero' in the end (sort of..)

It is funny how they portray Jesus and Moses as underappriciated superheros.

That's the way I see it too. I think the subtle message there is that Jesus really is "available", but no one (including self proclaimed christians) really pay any attention to what he has to say.
