The truth is, Islam was never truly mocked. The portrayal of Mohammed was gentle and respectful (by SP standards). They conceded that the Afghan kids "might have a point" in hating America and have not attacked Islam specifically. They hit Scientology worst, then Mormanism. They've attacked most aspects of Christianity although they haven'd attacked the tenants of it as being foolish and ripe for ridicule.

The funny thing is, I wouldn't want them to go after Islam the way they went after Mormonism and Scientology. I thought the Scientology thing was derivative of the Mormon episode and I don't want to see it again applied to Islam. I'll still laugh, I'm sure, but I want them to be original.
