I'm with you on the cologne thing. Not only does certain strong scents trigger allergy attacks in my case, but on occasion migranes as well. Those people who have to bath in that stuff apparently have NO sense of smell or common courtesy as well.
Same here. And when I explain it to the waiter/hostess they are not offended and seat me at another table without any fuss. Now if I'm already seated first and have my food before the odoriferous patron is seated nearby, it's a little more difficult but after a bout of uncontrollable sneezing and my sinuses clog and my eyes water, I can't smell anything anyway. SO I at least get sympathy (and a to go box).
BTW, for me, smoke-filled rooms have the same effect except that my throat and lungs feel raw for a couple days after, so if it makes you feel better, Joisey, consider your affect on people like me your revenge.
