I hardly call KPLX and Dallas a hick marketNor do I. But Natalie was talking about the fans of her former genre', not a specific market.

KPLX was one of their biggest supporters. Now they are rarely played. They are largely still a country act. I doubt this record will not sell at all. They have burned the fan base. The last thing an angry fan is going to do is going to pay for a over priced record by someone that has called them small minded rednecks. Dixie Chicks don't have the cred to classic rock or alt. They aren't Johnny Cash. All I have to say is Rick Ruben must have gotten some serious $$$ to make this record. Or a chance to give them recording makeover Ala Mutt Lang. I have seen them live pre-london. It was at the god awful Cotton Bowl. I fell asleep at one point. In the rain!
