Would water aerobics be for you? A friend of my sister's found a place near her house that offers it, and she loves it.
When I had done one type of exercise (weight training and aerobics) for years and years, it was like moving into a completely foreign territory to find "no impact" anything. I have just done nothing for 2 years now, because I was too afraid to try anything that may cause me more pain or damage to my spine....the ultimate goal for me is maintaining my spine for the next 60 years (or however long I live!)
