seems like you are do too much too soon. I would just do one thing and than another etc

Problem is, if I quit smoking first, I'll gain even more weight.

Quitting smoking later isn't an option. For some reason Dana Reeve's death was a wakeup call for me, probably because we're the same age. I want to take advantage of that effect it's had on me.

I've decided that if I'm going to go off, I'll go off the diet before I'll go off the smoking wagon.

That's what I keep telling myself anyway...

It depends on how you look at it. The Zyban for one thing will give you energy which may help with food in take. You might gain some, but once you are completely off cigaretts than you can start exercising to get some off and remember once those lungs are cleaned out (and they will be) you will be able to exercise at a longer time. I understand that Dana Reeve's death was tragic, but I mean I never heard of that before and she did NOT smoke. Whatever you decide Good luck.
