I was thinking about what to give up for Lent and finally made the decision to give up carbs which I thought was going to be the heardest sacrifice I have ever done during Lent. Well I can tell you that since Ash Wednesday my stomach has gone down a lot. I am in the Navy so I was never "out of the Navy's regs", but those rediculous new government regs that they changed for some reason a couple years ago has my BMI pretty high. Anyway, I was 180 and now about 170. Now I understand that is not a lot of weight, but the overall feel of my body I can tell and when I look in the mirror I can tell also. Oh I am on 5'8.
That is the most important thing, I think. More important then the # on the scale.
