I think the cost of drinks would bankrupt me...LOL! I'm sure we'll go someday.
Yeah... avoid the drinks. Water, tea, lemonade were all free. Soft drinks and alcohol we're pricey. To save more money, eat on the ship, even when in port. There, its already included in the cruise price.
Some of the people in our group were drinking like fish. I would be afraid to see their final bill.
