Things the school system is doing wrong...

Posted on 03/05/2006 12:03:36 PM PST by Reaper FReeper

I wrote this essay a long time ago and I think it wold go great here: Things that the schools are doing wrong...

1. The schools make there curriculum based on a females learning style and behavior.

2. Boys who's are energetic are usually forced to conform to the use of mind altering drugs, such as Ritalin.

3. Natural male aggression is not channeled, but suppressed.

4. High divorce rates have left many young boys without role models.

These problems produces young men who are Mentally unstable. They are stuck in a perpetual state of childish behavior. These boys never have male role models to show them how to treat people and behave like a gentleman when it is necessary. They will suppress aggression until they finally have a collapse and can't deal with daily pressures. The boys also are used to the new victim mentality, playing weak and saying "Poor me, you all owe me for my problems." These boys further more have no idea the importance of fidelity and commitment. They also have no reason to trust other people.

As a teenage female I am now thing about my future and what I have to look forward to. The school system has made my prospective husbands permanent weaklings. I look for in a male for him to actually be a "MAN" not a cowardly boy. I see now that the schools have drugged or ruined most of the men that are growing up in this world today. I am shocked that I now have to marry and raise a male in a society that basically does not allow male behavior. I would like to know how that world expect me to to marry a man who is unfit from lack of exercise and has a lower IQ and less self esteem. I want a man who is loyal, honorable, hard working, disciplined and physically powerful. I also think that my children will require a strong male role model who will put his foot down when needed.

Is that too much to ask? I think not. I think this is the basic need for all women. A woman has to take care of her children and the home. She needs a man who can stand by her, support her decisions and give her what she requires to manage the home and children!

I hope you're serious and not a troll, because a lot of what you say is true. Young males are in huge trouble as they deal with the new feminist America, and it's not getting any better.

The school system failed at punctuation and grammar.

It has. Fortunately it hasn't entirely succeeded.

FYI......the military has a good percentage of those who haven't been destroyed.

What, exactly, is this supposed to mean?

I tend to think that it is the family that should be teaching boys how to be men, not the school system.

I think she means that's what she wants to do, not all girls. If she wants to stay at home with the kids, and let her man take care of things, that's her decision. Isn't that what the feminists fought for, choice? Not force us to be just like the boys, but if we want to we can :)

Oh poor girl, I sympathize. But you're in high school you can't expect manly behavior at that age.

The only true manly men I have even known have all been conservatives, I guess partially because their parents are conservatives and protect them from a lot of this nonsense in school.

I'm sure there are a few studly guys on this forum. :)

You really need to get someone to work on spelling and grammar with you.

From your post:

From your profile:

...I'm a homeschool Goth ...

Ok miss, now who is "mentally unstable" and who is in a state of "childish behavoir"?

You've got a lot to learn, ma'am.

"I wrote this essay a long time ago and I think it wold go great here: "

In your profile, you say you're 14 years old. Yet, you wrote this a "long time ago." How long?

It sounds familiar. Similar essays have appeared here, claiming that boy are not growing to be men. Yet, I see young men everywhere I go. They're playing on sports teams, studying academic subjects so they can earn a good living when they get older, and doing all the things young men are supposed to do.

Yes, young men need father figures to help them understand some of their roles for the future. They also need mothers to teach them how to tread the women in their lives.

You're 14. You have a number of years before you need to decide on a partner. The boys your age are just that...boys. The men are too old for you, so you should leave them alone, and they should be leaving you alone.

At 14, it's time to focus on your education, not on what you think men should be or should not be. There's plenty of time for that.

You're looking for a strong man. Be careful that this man who will "put his foot down" isn't a man who will plant that foot firmly on the back of your neck.

Go watch the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird." Pay close attention to the character of Atticus. There, young lady, is a real man. Look for someone like him, and you will not go wrong...ever.

That's it, young lady. You will write on the blackboard, 20 times, "I will not post without proofreading."

It's OK, sweetie. I know you're excited. ;-)

". The schools make there curriculum based on a females learning style and behavior."

Its pretty much always been this way, at least since the late 19th century anyway. Not a big problem in itself, more of an annoyance.

"2. Boys who's are energetic are usually forced to conform to the use of mind altering drugs, such as Ritalin."

True. Much too much of that. Boys should be taught separately where possible, I think.

"3. Natural male aggression is not channeled, but suppressed. "

True, see 2.

"4. High divorce rates have left many young boys without role models."

Bingo. That, and the high rate of illegitimacy. These kids have no fathers, I have seen far more of that than I want to. Between those two factors you have an explanation of nearly everything thats wrong.
