Interesting. The top three gross films are:

1. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
2. The Chronicles of Narnia...
3. Walk the Line.

And then #4 trailing the pack is...

Brokeback Mountain

No its #11. Note "Crash" is not on the list. "Capote" and "Good Night and Good Luck" haven't exactly wowed audiences. Its a year of slim pickin's for Hollywood.

3. Walk the Line.

Rented this last night and hubby and I really enjoyed this flick.

Tonight, in honor of the Oscars, hubby and I will NOT be watching ABC's coverage but will instead be watching Pride & Prejudice.

Keep in mind that although Brokeback was ranked 4th in total gro$$, it has been out 80 days while most of the films it is in contention with on current gro$$ have been out no more than 30 days.

What is worse for "the loves of the liberals" are "Capote" with total gro$$ of less than $25 million after being in the theatres for 150 days, and looney Clooney's favorite "Good Night and Good Luck, out for 143 days and still got just barely $30 million in total gro$$.
