I'm right here...
Truth is Hollywood liberals are nothing but whining sissy girls. You got Willie Nelson now even portraying Cowboys as having a "lady" inside them.
I liked Karl Urban and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in DOOM. Yes, it was a hokey movie based on a video game, but there was plenty of testosterone. Karl especially was smokin' hot. He completely stole the film from the Rock as far as I was concerned. Rent the DVD.
If you want to see something truly wild (and very violent), rent the DVD of Chopper, starring Australian Eric Bana. It is a crazy story about one of Australia's most famous criminals, Mark "Chopper" Reid. Bana had to bulk up significantly for the part.
Don't forget Rock Hudson and Tyrone Power.
Much as I'd love to my wife would not allow me to supply my address. A Joisey lifeguard in my younger days, I was always told that my beehynd was delicious. But what do those Joisey girls know anyway, (hee hee)

Here I am baby, signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours... |
Well, I'm single...I enjoy singing and playing the piano (not at the same time), baseball, and gardening. I have a deep, but odd, sense of humor; favorites include James Thurber, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and Dave Barry. I'm 6 feet tall (with shoes), blond, and longevity runs in the family.
OK, Freepettes, please, one at a time!
I don't watch movies anymore. I watch the NFL! Real men there. Give me Tom Brady any day!
Kurt Russell comes to mind -- he's a manly hunk and a sadly underrated actor, probably because he had the gaul to have is pic taken with *gasp* Newt Gingrich. Watch "Miracle" and "Dark Blue," both movies that show what a fine actor he actually is.
Then there are Mel Gibson, Tom Selleck, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, Bruce Willis, Viggo Mortenson, Clint Eastwood, Jeff Bridges, Samuel Jackson, Russell Crowe, Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Dennis Quaid ... And while I don't like what politics I hear coming from them, other "hunks" who are enjoyable actors are Harrison Ford, Ed Harris, Matt Damon, John Travolta, even Kevin Costner, who is absolutely fantastic in both "Graceland" and "Open Range." Potential up-and-coming man-men hunks include Josh Lucas (I think that's his name, the guy who played Reese Witherspoon's love in "Sweet Home Alabama") and Ron Livingston, the extraordinarily handsome and manly fellow in "Office Space."
Even more impressive is our generation's wealth of excellently fine character actors, on a par (almost!) with the legendary "saddle scum" and chameleon talent of the sainted Strother Martin. Michael Biehn, Tom Berenger, Harry Dean Stanton, Billy Bob Thornton ... and others that I can't really classify except as among the guys who are their own guys and keep Hollywood alive, like Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Nicholas Cage, Michael Clark Duncan, Hugh Grant, Kevin Cline, James Woods, Tim Allen, Kelsey Grammar ...
To those who whine that all the "greats" belong to the World War II generation, I say what my dad often says: "You'd complain if you were hung with a new rope." *sheesh*
