I really hate the mantra of repair services-"sometime between 8 and before noon"-and usually he ends up arriving JUST before noon, thereby rendering your entire day useless for the purpose of getting any work done anywhere but home. Fortunately, I do have a bid to work on...

Has anyone seen any comment on the NO Mardi Gras festival this year? I don't understand how they can do this when everything is supposedly such a dangerous, unhealthy mess, and to hear the whiners tell it people are practically starving on the streets and living in boxes. If things are really that dire, why are the hell are they celebrating? Someone should draw a cartoon of Nagin as Nero presiding over the celebration with fiddle in hand...
