I am in Denver where it was 70 degrees and sunny today (after being 2 degrees and snowy a week ago).

But I live in Los Angeles and my wife is battening down the hatches for a gully washer.

Hey Al.

My son lives in Glendora. How's that looking?
He was visiting here when Katrina hit so, he has some experience under his belt.

LOS ANGELES A 55-gallon drum of phosphoric acid that fell from the back of a delivery truck has spilled as much as 25 gallons of the chemical on the Exposition Boulevard onramp to the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, Brian Humphrey of the city fire department said.

The spill occurred shortly before 2 p.m. while "significant" rain was falling, which made it difficult to determine how much of the material spilled into the sewer system, Humphrey said.
