Which is nowhere near the coast, is it?
The original article stated that the STATE of New Jersey has the highest point on the Atlantic Seaboard. That has not changed and is indeed still true.
Various Ridge lines run almost to the hudson river, it just keeps getting higher and higher, the further west you get.
Still not sure what that has to do with proximity to the coast or what my town has to do with anything. The eastern border of NJ is Ocean for the most part. The whole state is only 60-70 miles wide at the widest point, less than 40 at the narrowest.
