For the longest time, the policy of writers was when stunts like this were done, they would not tell the name of the company that was promoted.
In doing so, they discouraged this type of attention.
Alas, the Associated Press has fallen to a new low in repeatedly giving these guys the free press that they crave.

Yeah, those were my initial thoughts as I was reading this article.
I would have redacted the offending passage, but I don't think you're allowed to alter the content of articles posted here.
Besides, I suppose it's worthwhile to know who the idiots behind these puerile stunts are.
