"Are you on holidays?"

I'm usually on some sorta holiday, when I'm not out slavin' on the chain gang.

I'll be heading back to the usual digs tomorrow, so I can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine of the afore-mentioned chain gang!

I did, but it's been in there since I got the truck. I usually back into my spot under the carport because there is a cinderblock wall there. I was more concerned with my tag being stolen than the spare.

Someone was stalled in the middle of the driveway, so I pulled straight in, and when I went out to move the truck later on, the spare was gone. The spare wasn't really good (desert rot) but I miss the wheel...now I have to get another.

You want Spring? I think I have some here ...

Spring

The birds seem happy when they sing,
In truth, they call a warning.
To other males who might intrude,
“Go somewhere else this morning!”

With strident voice and puffed out chest,
They pose as on display.
The ladies flutter here and there,
Today’s a shopping day!

They’re looking ‘round for husbands,
And other things as well,
Material to build a place,
For gifts wrapped in a shell.

Happy Father’s Day, my dear,
Go find a bit of lunch.
I think we’ll have some company,
Expect to feed a bunch!

It all happens so quickly!
Life Springs forth in a pace,
That seems to make a joke of this,
Spring-fevered Human race!

Thanks, Fanfan!

I guess I'll have to settle for just a little bit of posting today. It is, after all, a borrowed computer, and theoretically, there may be people here with legitimate research to conduct ... (Chortle!)

I'll be back tomorrow evening. So long, folks!

LOL!

I had to think about that for a minute.

Hmmm. Tag, huh?

Oh! License plate!

I didn't want to type "license plate."

Yeah! Some people seem to think they have a license to steal...

I would have put it under the truck where it belongs, but there was a crucial piece missing from the equipment...the bolt and nut that held it to the bed of the truck.

But for $500, what should I expect?

What would someone want with a license plate? Put it on a stolen car?

Essentially, yes. Then go commit a crime, and leave the car abandoned. In the meantime, you have to pay for the registration all over again.

LOL!

Probably a few more good ones in there, too, about 'flakes' and shellac being the, ahem, 'byproduct' of a parasite.
