Panting and red ears?! I sure hope he hasn't gotten into some kind of poison! The vet's office is the best place for him, in case he gets worse.

That was my first thought too. :-(
But he hasn't vomited - or at least Hair hasn't mentioned that. He'd be vomiting or drooling if it was poison.
