Here it is, along with the Benchmade, and the Camillus:
The sheath is a vey nice Spec Ops brand, with lots of features, but in the now-uncool color of black. The knife itself is ... unique. The blade is double-tapered like a dagger, although the top edge is unsharpened. This makes for a light-but-thin blade. The "tire tread" handle covers a full-thickness tang. Even with a long blade, the knife is slightly butt-heavy. This gives the same effect as understeer in a race car.
The "tire treads" are hard plastic, and really seem to work. The handle shape is ergonomic, and, with the light blade, makes things quite maneuverable. There is a small "beak" at the bottom of the handle for breaking glass.
The Optima seems to be a pure fighting knife. With no full-thickness spine, one can't apply extra pressure when chopping, as you could with the Benchmade, Camillus, or Gerber. This is a killin' knife, with not much going for it in the utility/survival/kitchen category.
But for it's specialized purpose, it sure seems sweet.
