Now, y'all pay attention to the weather today! It's supposed to get pretty frisky north of us!

Yeah it is pretty clear they trimmed most of it short but only trimmed the long stuff off the tail. He will probably have long fluffy haiy like for example a Golden.

I'm on alert, Rose! They mentioned the other night at the Wild Wild Weather show that things might be rocky this afternoon and evening.

It's a purty day. But we could use some rain. They're talking the "D" word already...

Good morning!
Well, Cisco was a very good boy last night...slept right beside the bed all night. A few times I moved around and he got up for a minute, but then laid back down when I did.
No accidents in the house...which is a relief. Being as how he was a stray, there was a possibility he was either completely not housebroken, or had forgotten most of what it entails. But he's been good as gold so far.
Gonna take him out on a line for a bit after I get ready and have my own breakfast - he's had his. He's being patient and good, but I think he's got energy to burn. ;-) The fence will make life a lot easier.

And he's been good with the cats?

We're twenty degrees cooler and a little foggy. Weatherbug has the big ? over the graphic today that means "We have no idea what it's gonna do"

Yes, they did! It involved a light show and really loud rock music ("Brick House" and "YMCA" for example) and it was quite a departure from their regular life and they looked to us with a bit of amazement...but they saw Steve and I enjoying ourselves and they got in to it pretty well.
Then the weather guys (who are like local heros) came running up the aisle and everyone, myself included, got really swept into the enthusiasm, you know? LOL! It was a riot. I haven't got that enthusiastic since my last Springsteen concert! LOL
There was smoke and confetti and lots of tornado footage. Then they gave a fairly good tornado/storm safety presentation that was pretty much just refresher info for all of us. There was a lot of "audience participation".
It was held in a gymnasium and it was packed.
It was a foray into the "real world" for the jedis and they handled it just fine. They participated just like all the rest of the kids in the gym (mostly from the Glendpool/Bixby public school system, there with their parents.)

We could use some rain here too. Clouds roll in, but they don't seem to darken or stay very long. :-/

Good morning!
Steve was "on call" all night, in case it rained and he had to go draw samples. He didn't have to go out and so he got a dollar twenty-five an hour just for sleeping on call!
Woohooo! Heh heh.
