Wow, that's a shame! But he should be feeding them something else besides hay. They looked poorly taken care of in general. I hate to see horses kept in conditions like that. Hopefully the ones that are adopted out will be bound for a better life and the ones that are left will be better taken care of and this guy will stop raising more horses than he can afford to feed. Although I'm not a horse owner, I have been around horses and have enjoyed riding. This is such a sad story....to see those poor horses starving and eating bark off the trees! I too hope they are adopted to people who will be able to take care of them!
