A knife for every occasion. What a great topic, knives, horses, and survival gear.
I'll have to throw in some pictures of pocket survival and signal kits, something else that should be in every saddlebag. And I still need to do a review of a handgun holster that's safe and sensible for rider or hiker.
You learn a lot, shopping for knives and gadgets for the troops. 1294 sharps to date, and no end in sight.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated :) I love that knife of Hair's.
I've always worn a shoulder holster when I've packed it on my person... I've never worn hip holsters riding, mostly because I don't wear a belt, or even pants with beltloops (I do wear pants, just not pants with beltloops, lol)
I also think the gun would be most protected in a shoulder holster if I were to get tossed. I think a hip holster would just mean one more place I'd have a bruise. :~D
Thanks. Looking forward to it.
And thanks winmag, for all you do :~D
