Ben & Jerry's is no longer owned by Ben or Jerry. They sold the company years ago to Unilever, an enormous Dutch multinational corporation.

Indeed they did. But the brand's website and PR continue to use them as crunchy, folksy figureheads. Ben is retired, but describes himself as "non-CEO" and Jerry is "Vice-President Of Mobile Promotions" which means he gets paid to travel promoting the brand.

Politics aside, I don't care for their ice cream. I do love Breyers.

Breyers is too airy for my taste. I like the smooth richness of Ben and Jerry's, but I hate the seven pounds of nine useless ingredients thrown into every flavor.

Whenever there's a thread about liberal non-Jews, do you comment "another liberal Christian sell-out?" That should keep you pretty busy. Especially since most liberals in this country are not Jewish.
