I saw this on the nightly news. Before his face began turning to liquid, Jake was an adorable, smiling, ball-playing six-year-old that anyone would love as a son or grandson. His parents are strong, God-honoring people who are desperate for prayers. Please help!

Time to round up the prayer warriors. Please help!
When I saw this boy on tv tonight, something in his smile reminded me of Logan. Both kids are well-loved, confident, smart-looking, bright-eyed, happy boys....
Jake's face will never be the same, of course, and I'm worried about his eyes, ears, tongue -- and his life.
Necrotizing faciitis crops up here in the Pacific Northwest every year. Very dangerous! But we've prayed some freeper friends through it before and hopefully, we can help Jake too.

Necrotizing faciitis is very painful, and it's so fast.
Dear Father, please stop this ravaging infection attacking little Jake Finkbonner. Please stop it now, so that Jake won't have to have any more skin removed by his doctors. Please, Father, heal this child and may it be for Thy great glory. Thank you, thank you. In Jesus's Name, Amen

Jake, before and during his fight with this horrible bacteria. His face looked even worse in the most recent photos on tv. What a horror for his parents.
Please, dear Lord, help Jake heal.

A fast-moving infection, usually a very nasty kind of streptococcus but sometimes caused by other bacteria. This is
not one of those that you want to look up on the internet. This is a nasty little bug, but the kid has a good chance now that he's in the hospital.
I hope everything comes out alright.
To: Zeroisanumber
Thanks, Z. According to the tv announcer, he's already had a lot of his facial tissue removed. Hopefully, they can keep his brain, eyes, ears, free of infection.

I've had 2 patients with this, but it wasnt on thier face... its heartwrenching. Hopefully they will be able to stop it before it inflicts severe damage.

My brother-in-law had this a few years ago. Thankfully it wasn't on his face. He survived but it really took a toll on him.
It is a nasty, horrible disease.
Prayers for this little boy and his family.
