How to be a Perfect Liberal Democrat (vanity)
email | 20 Feb 2006 | Unknown

Posted on 02/20/2006 6:30:48 AM PST by timsbella

1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand.

2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese and North Korean communists.

4. You have to believe that there was no art before Federal funding.

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical documented changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV's.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural.

7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.

8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do.

10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.

Obviously having no idea what in the hell you're talking about is a requirement as well. You are making this easy

Perhaps your right and I am wrong. Maybe they really don't sink mothballed aircraft carriers................But then again maybe they do !. Anyway, it's always cheaper to start from scratch isn't it ?. What the hell are you talking about ?. please elaborate !

Ships are made of steel. The hulls simply get metal fatigue and start to crack and lose structural strength. They have a life span, as do the engines.

So genius, are you driving a rebuilt Model-T? You really are classically, and blissfully ignorant of what you speak.

Somewhere there is an unborn baby that is on a direct path to being born, shouldn't you be out trying to kill it or something? What will your fellow libs say when they find out that you haven't been screaming at wounded heroes or surfing kitty porn this morning? Or do you have multiple windows open?

You have to believe that guilty murderers and innocent animals are to be protected at all times but it's your choice if you want to "terminate" the human being growing inside you.

Perhaps your right and I am wrong.

There's no "perhaps" about it. Try to resolve this one in your head Einstein. Evil shipping titans want to maximize profits right? They don't care about the safety of their workers or the world right? So they keep using their ships forever without building replacements right? Oops, gosh, if the evil capitalists aren't using their ships past 40 years, but wasting money building replacements, what is the world coming to? Ditto for trucks, trains, planes, etc.

If you have a brain under all that tinfoil, why don't you trot yourself down to a library and read up on structural engineering. Don't worry, there are pictures.

"surfing kitty porn "

Umm, do you mean Kiddie Porn?
Kitty porn will bring the Viking kitties out faster than a stupid troll on Friday.

Well alrighty then. It is quite apparent where you stand on being a conservative. I happen to believe in NO waste. In having to get by on what one has. While YOU have made it abundantly clear that it is not only alright but expected to bilge the tax payers in this country for every last dime to further your agenda.....................Having folks of your caliber on my side isn't an asset

Plenty of Liberal shipping titans - think Canada's former (thank G-d) PM - Paul Martin - heir of Canada Steamship lines. Wanna research waste & corruptio? Check out his company and especially their "reflagging' to avoid Canadian tax. Being a liberal doesn't equate with good or moral. Same applies for this place too. We just agree to discuss it openly.

You believe in unions, workers rights, and more and more regulations but hire illegal labor to work your plantation.

You have to believe that enacting a law that penalizes financially strapped law abiding citizens that remove their vehicles from the road for not being able to afford vehicle insurance is a deterance for people who refuse to operate their vehicles with proper lisence plates and/or insurance.

I happen to believe in NO waste.

I just proved you to be an idiot and that's all you have to say for yourself?

I believe in no waste either. It comes from the Earth and it is returned to the Earth. In most items it is faster, cheaper, and more efficient to build a new one that to try to fix an old worn out one.

Having folks of your caliber on my side isn't an asset

I doubt you have many assets (certainly not intelligence) and I'm proud not to be one of them. I'm also 100% certain that I'm NOT on YOUR side. If I was I'd be staring at rolls and rolls of tinfoil and jugs of koolaid.

Oh man, kiddie porn is even worse than kitty porn, but who knows what libs are into. Just to be safe, I'd hide the pets.

How is it that I can almost picture yourself being somehow being affiliated with a government entity as opposed to working a real job.

I think perhaps your unaware of this new invention they came out with. I believe they call it a welder. And while I'm not quite sure what it does, I believe it has something to do with fusing metal. Oh by the way, Am I not supposed to own my Ford model T for some reason ?

You are fantastically ignorant of what metal fatigue is, and apparently of how ships are constructed, yet you continue to put yourself on parade.

Welding cannot fix metal fatigue. It can only create a new a new line of stronger metal, which will serve no particular use. You are in effect suggesting fixing a wrotten wooden beam by using more nails and glue on it.

Of course the ships are already welded together, so to get to all of the developing cracks in the inner skeleton, you would need to cut the outer and inner plates off. Simply put you would have to take it completely apart and then reassembe it, and you would still be doing it with fatigued metal that will continue getting new cracks at a faster and faster pace.

You surely must be able to understand some of this. Its not that complicated.

If I deciphered the language you are using correctly, I'd have to say I want no part in knowing what you can visualize.

Hey while you are hunting down all that military waste of perfectly good 50 year old weaponry. What ever happened to all of those perfectly good airplanes that were left over from Korea, and why isn't our military still driving their WWII jeeps (being metal they could be welded)?

While you are making a list, add muskets and swords. No really, you're on to something. Don't let go of it. Write some letters to Congress and the MSM right now.

Mr., Let me be perfectly clear on this one point. It is not cheaper nor smarter to replace something that displaces water perfectly fine with something that has all the latest and greatest beeps, bells and whistles just because you have the ability to force it upon your citizens to pay for it. It would be far wiser to refit the bells and whistles on something that is existing. Have you checked the price of steel lately ?. We arn't arguing replacing steam turbins with nuclear. We're arguing water displacment capabilities for crying out loud !........jeeze
So simple yet so hard to grasp
