I sure do remember it. "In Concert" was on the same years as Don Kirshner's show and was its competition.

A few years ago I tried to find out if video tapes of the "Rock Concert" shows were available. All I found out was some info about Don Kirshner.

I went to a number (15ish) of these free concerts as a yout. They were taped in a theater in Long Beach (mebbe Santa Monica?), CA. I managed a record store at the time so we got VIP passes from the label reps so the seats were great. Much fun for free but *very* long time between acts. Typical time in the theater was about ten hours.

Of all the acts I saw the person that impressed me most was James Brown.
