I've seen the qualifications for being a school teacher from around the turn of the century. In addition to being academically qualified, more stress was placed on above board character, integrity and moral behavior.

I wish I could find the list, actually I've seen a couple of them.

This is the result of the normalization of sexual deviance and sexual immorality.
